Yes, I'm still here!

Okay so I know it has been way too long since my last post, however I have been crazy busy lately! Between doctors appointments, dentist appointments, and a job interview I have completely neglected my blog! 

Let's catch up! So, I will be starting a new job as an administrative assistant at a dental office and I am so excited! Don't get me wrong, I love the kids I work with as a preschool teacher, however it has always been a passion for me to work in the medical field and I knew this was a chance for me to get my foot in the door! I couldn't pass it up.

As for my shopping habit goes, here are some amazing finds I happened to pick up last weekend while aimlessly walking around Old Navy ( I had originally only went to exchange ONE shirt and walked out with about 5 other items, whoops)

 

LOVE LOVE LOVE all of these great finds. The bathing suit I got in black, however it is sold out online, but the teal one is also on my list. I love the way the bottoms fit on this bathing suit. The jean jacket was PERFECT. I've been searching for a good one for a while now, and this one was definitely the one. Also only $25, how could I pass that up?!

Happy (almost) Friday!

Whew! What a busy 2 days since I last posted. As you can imagine, being a preschool teacher definitely keeps you busy! But, tomorrow is Friday and I am so ready for the weekend. 

One thing I wanted to talk about is my recent obsession with two different drinks from Dunkin Donuts. I have been hooked on either ordering a sweet tea with coconut syrup added, or their new almond joy iced coffee with coconut syrup added (you will quickly realize my love for coconut EVERYTHING). If you love coconut and sweet drinks then I would definitely give these a try! 

Now on to more important matters, SHOES! My dad always used to joke that I need a whole separate apartment just for my shoes. There are a few pairs I have been drooling over specifically; 

  

Nude, Nude, and more Nude! Okay so the ones in the middle I actually just bought 2 days ago and I can not wait to wear them! I was anticipating on them not being very comfortable but I was so wrong. The Sam Edelman heels (on the left) are to die for, now if only my size wasn't sold out on every website. The ones on the right will go with everything in my closet, so they definitely will get added to my closet soon! :)

My Very First Post!

Hey everyone! 

So here it is, my very first blog post! I don't have any followers yet, so I'm not even sure who will be reading this but I am so excited to start posting! I'm also still getting the hang of everything so try to bare with me!  

This blog is mainly for me to share my passion for fashion and style with anyone and everyone :) I have always been excited about fashion and just recently have been getting into the tricks and trade of beauty (hair, makeup, etc) and let me tell you, I am LOVING it! 

Throughout my new blog journey I hope to meet so many new people who share the same interests and connect with other great bloggers! Also, just a fair warning, plan on seeing tons of great Target and Old Navy finds, as I pretty much go there every other day. 

I should probably go ahead and tell you about my dog since you will hear and see plenty of her on my posts. Her name is Maisy, however she pretty much gets called anything other than that. Mae, Maise, MaeMae are her most common nicknames but sometimes I like to throw in random names like Tink or Monkey. She is the absolute apple of my eye! I rescued her from a high kill shelter when she was about 9 months old, she is 2 now, and she definitely keeps me on my toes! When my boyfriend first met her, it wasn't love at first site (for him at least). He was never used to having pets when he was younger, however now they are two peas in a pod (I think he spoils her more than me sometimes).

Alright well I'm off to be a preschool teacher now!
